Plug in a mic or instrument. On an audio track: set Audio From to your input, arm the track (red circle), hit Record.
Set the buffer size low enough that monitoring feels instant (Preferences → Audio).
Think of it like → Like a tape recorder, but the tape is infinite and rewindable.

- • Monitor delay should be under 10 ms at 256-sample buffer.

▸ COMMON MISTAKES
- ✗ Forgetting to arm — nothing recorded.
- ✗ Monitor=In during overdubs creates feedback if speakers are loud.
