// WHAT IT DOES
A minor scale is also seven notes, but with a different interval pattern that produces a 'sad', 'serious' or 'dark' feeling. The natural minor pattern in semitones is W H W W H W W.
A minor (all white keys from A to A) is the easiest example. It shares all the same notes as C major — they're 'relative' scales — but starting on A makes the whole feel shift.
There are three flavours of minor: natural, harmonic (raised 7), and melodic (raised 6 and 7 going up, natural going down). Each adds a different colour.
Think of it like → Same paints, different mixing recipe. Minor is the cool/moody version of the major palette.
