Wavetable
Modern synthesis, made friendly.
Two oscillators. Hundreds of waveforms. Endless evolving textures.

// WHAT IT DOES
Wavetable is a synth where each oscillator scans through a wavetable — a series of single-cycle waveforms morphed together.
Move the Position knob → tone changes from one waveform to the next. Modulate it → things start to move.
Think of it like → Like flipping through a flipbook of waveforms while a note plays.
▸ WHY YOU CARE
- • Build evolving pads, leads, and basses without layering ten synths.
- • Mod matrix turns small tweaks into big sound changes.

HOW: Tap TARGET, then tap YOUR SOUND. Move the slider until they sound the same. Tap LOCK ANSWER.
▸ HOW IT WORKS
MIDI note → 2 osc scan tables (modulated by env/LFO) → filters → amp env → output.
▸ Signal flow — watch the dot
▸ SIGNAL FLOW
Glowing dot = your signal travelling through Live.
▸ LISTEN FOR
- • Position morph adds a sweep — like a filter, but on the source.
- • FM Effect mode adds harmonic complexity instantly.
▸ WALKTHROUGH (3 steps)
- 1. DO: Load Wavetable → default preset → hold a note.▸ LISTEN: Bright digital saw.
- 2. DO: Modulate Position with LFO 1 (depth 50).▸ LISTEN: Tone sweeps cyclically.
- 3. DO: Switch Effect to FM.▸ LISTEN: Tone gets metallic, bell-like.
▸ COMMON MISTAKES
- ✗ Maxing Unison voices on a busy track — CPU spike.
- ✗ Forgetting the mod matrix exists — most expressive part of the synth.
