// WHAT IT DOES
Automation lets you draw any parameter's value over time. Volume swells, filter sweeps, pan moves — all written into the timeline.
Press A in Arrangement to reveal automation lanes; click a parameter dropdown; draw a curve.
Think of it like → Like setting up a robot to turn knobs for you, exactly the same way every time.

▸ SIGNAL FLOW
Glowing dot = your signal travelling through Live.
▸ LISTEN FOR
- • Volume rises/falls precisely matching the curve.
▸ WALKTHROUGH (3 steps)
- 1. DO: Press A in Arrangement → choose Volume lane → click two breakpoints.▸ LISTEN: Track fades on playback.
- 2. DO: Cmd/Ctrl-drag the line between points.▸ LISTEN: Curve becomes exponential.
- 3. DO: Right-click → Disable Automation.▸ LISTEN: Bypassed, but the curve is preserved.
▸ COMMON MISTAKES
